Abstract
Consists of a copy of a contractual arrangement (1843) between Castro - who was an empresario who received a land concession from the president of the independent Republic of Texas (1836-1845) - and a potential colonist whom he recruited in Paris France, paraphrasing the law that granted Castro his concession and outlining the stipulation of his contract.
