Abstract

Correspondence, personal documents, and photographs in this collection show the life of George Garrington (Grünbaum) from his youth in Berlin, through the war years spent in England, to his later life in the United States. There are also speeches, writings, sermons, items related to Sharit's legal work and Zionist activities, as well as some letters from Mordecai Kaplan.

The collection contains addresses, articles, bulletins, correspondence, commencement book, guest book, newsclippings, newsletters, photographs, radio broadcast transcripts, souvenir journal, and yearbook.
