Personal papers and writings of Frida Ilmer Grosser, documenting her career as a scholar of German literature.

The collection contains primarily photocopies of documents concerning the efforts of the Vida family to emigrate from their home in Gablonz, Sudetenland (today Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic) to the United States. There are also several of Vida's handwritten sermons.

The collection contains a report by Kurt E. Reinsberg on his investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation during the early 1940s, after he was denounced as a German collaborator. The report includes redacted copies of the files the FBI kept on him. Also included are circulars and clippings pertaining to the Jewish community of Fulda and a membership roster and constitution and by-laws for the Isachar Widows and Orphans Benevolent Society.

This collection contains the chaplain's kit used by Rabbi Emery Glancz during his service as an army chaplain during World War II. Included in the kit is a flag with the Ten Commandments; one Ten Commandments plaque; two brass candlesticks, one marked "US;" two brass communion plates marked "US;" one brass priest's communion cup with cross; and three silver-plated cups.
