Manuscript on the family history and genealogy of the Reiss and Perez families, personal and family correspondence, family photos, and a poetry journal.

This collection documents the life and activities of dancer and activist Ronya Schwaab. The collection contains material related to her activities advocating for Soviet Jews, lecturing on various topics, her trips abroad, and writing reviews for numerous books. It also includes correspondence with family, friends, and various officials in both the public and non-profit spheres of politics and business. The collection contains numerous photographs and certificates that further document her activities and accomplishments.

This collection contains the papers of Sallyann Amdur Sack, “The Godmother” of Jewish Genealogy. In 1980, Sack founded the Jewish Genealogy Society of Greater Washington (JGSGW); in 1984, she organized the First International Seminar on Jewish Genealogy in Jerusalem, Israel; and in 1985, she co-founded AVOTAYNU: The International Review of Jewish Genealogy, known as “The Voice” of Jewish Genealogy research. These papers chronicle Dr. Sack’s groundbreaking work, which ranges from the early 1980s through 2007. The collection contains correspondence, conference and seminar materials, planning and research papers, as well as photographs and audio/visual material.

This collection consists primarily of photocopies, largely of materials pertaining to memorial and reconciliation events for the Jewish community of Schermbeck in the 1980s.

This collection contains two original documents dating to the 17th and 18th centuries concerning the legal status of a Jewish community and the sale of a piece of land to the community. There are also photocopies and transcriptions of the burial register, pre-war photographs of the Jewish cemetery, and a clipping on the community's history.

This collection contains the personal documents of Siegfried and Ruth Kummer Bodenheimer, dating mostly from before the couple was married in 1946. It holds vital documents, family photographs, postcards, secondary school documents, and materials related to Siegfried’s service in the United States Army during World War II.

This collection contains personal papers and correspondence which document the personal and professional lives of Sigmund and Toni Feist from the 1880s through their emigration to Denmark in 1939.

This collection contains a copy of Elisabeth Schönfeld's diary written during the Nazi dictatorship, as well as a few photographs, a manuscript by Lucie Meyer on her emigration to France, and a couple of family papers. All items are photocopies, except the photographs.

This collection contains correspondence, photographs, a genealogical table, a cookbook, and a handmade children's picture book pertaining to the family of Josie Rudolph Thurnauer, a German Jew born in 19th century Alaska.

This collection is comprised of photographs, one bank book, pamphlets, clippings and personal correspondence regarding the organization, Trees for Vietnam (later named Trees and Life for Vietnam). Trees and Life for Vietnam’s goals came out of the Jewish Campaign for the People’s Peace Treaty, which sought to establish a treaty of peace between the United States and North Vietnam from the late 1960s to the early 1970s.

This collection consists of correspondence, including letters from Carl Zuckmayer, Andreas Latzko, Ernst Haeckel, and Maximilian Harden. The remaining materials include various family papers, photographs, a couple of short manuscripts, and family trees.

The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence relating to his efforts as a committee chairman for tree-planting efforts in Israel. Other materials concern his genealogy and his memoirs.
