The Fleischer Family papers document the family of Simon and Lilly (née Hammerschlag) Fleischer. Simon and Lilly emigrated from Poland to New York City in the early 1920s and married in 1928. They became naturalized United States citizens in the late 1960s. The Fleischers had two sons, Martin and Bernard. The Fleischers owned Fleischer Brothers Butchers in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, as well as Fleischer’s New Star Mountain Hotel in the Catskills area of Monticello, NY. The collection contains correspondence, passports, marriage records, naturalization records, some business documents, and many family photographs dating from the 1890s to the 1950s.

The collection contains official documents and correspondence pertaining to the family of Elly Hirschel née Heymann and the family of her mother Rosa Heymann née Goslar. The papers include a certified copy of the testament of Dora Zadeck, the widow of Jacob Herz Cohn, who established Nauensche Stift, a boarding school for orphans and underprivileged children, in Berlin in 1789. In addition, there are marriage certificates, vital records, and official correspondence pertaining to the Schutzjuden privileges of the Goslar family, mostly dating from the first half of the 19th century. Also included is a prayer by Rabbi S. Egers for protection against the cholera epidemic of 1831.

This highly diverse collection contains material of various sources, times, and genres, from Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe and Argentina. The documents included range from correspondence, such as letters, postcards or telegrams, to emigration documents, such as ship lists and permits, to vital records, such as family registers, various certificates and awards, to a number of small publications, such as brochures, programs and clippings. There is also a number of Jewish devotionals, including Yahrzeit calendars, religious graphics and prayer manuals, as well as some ephemera.

The John Kallir Collection contains documents regarding the life of John Kallir, his father Otto Kallir, their ancestors, and genealogical material.

The material in this collection was compiled by the descendants of the seven children of Moritz and Emma Czarnikow.

The collection contains correspondence, business documents, marriage contracts, and other manuscript material from members of the Nathan family.

The collection contains papers including vital documents, membership cards, awards, medals, diaries, memoirs, diaries, manuscripts, legal papers, correspondence, business records, wills, genealogies and family histories regarding the Pinkus family, notable textile manufacturers in Neustadt (now Prudnik, Poland) in Upper Silesia, and their personal and business affairs. The family was also highly regarded for its support of civic and cultural affairs in the area, and corresponded with several notable cultural figures.

The Rosenfeld Family Collection comprises several generations of official and personal papers of this family of cantors and physicians. Included are a large number of certificates and other official documents from government and military offices, religious authorities, and academic and professional institutions. There are also a few family letters and essays, notes, family trees and genealogical descriptions and various other material.
