Anne Ratkowski-Wanger Collection
Much of this collection consists of Arthur Segal's correspondence and his unpublished manuscript poem Cosmogenie. Other materials include photographs and some of Anne Ratkowski-Wanger's correspondence.
Dora Segall Material
The Dora Segall Material holds papers of Dora Segall, who worked for the Leo Baeck Institute London and her husband Fritz, who was head of the Berlin-based Jüdische Künstlerhilfe. The bulk of the material consists of correspondence and related documentation pertaining to their professional capacities. Over half of the collection relates to Fritz Segall's work and documents the assistance provided to German-Jewish artists by the Künstlerhilfe. In addition to correspondence, the collection holds photographs, articles and clippings and reports.
Franz Landsberger Collection
This collection contains several letters Landsberger received from various notables, as well as transcribed correspondence and other materials on Ludwig Meidner and Anita Rée.
Fred S. Boyko Family Collection
This collection contains photocopies of documentation of portraitist Fred S. Boyko’s life in Vienna, immigration to the United States, and life in New York, particularly his education and career as a portraitist. Included are school certificates, documents pertaining to his emigration and naturalization, and applications, correspondence, exhibit booklets, and clippings regarding his career as a portraitist. Also included are items pertaining to members of Fred S. Boyko’s family, particularly articles about the work of his brother Hugo Boyko, an ecologist who worked to develop methods of salt water irrigation in the Negev desert in Israel.
Hans Jacoby Collection
This collection documents the life of the painter Hans Jacoby, who immigrated to the United States via Holland and Shanghai. Documents include family papers, personal writings, correspondence, brochures, official and other administrative documents, newspaper clippings, photographs and autographs.
Joseph Floch Collection
This collection extensively documents the career of Joseph Floch, a painter, mostly through articles and exhibition catalogues, along with personal documents and textile workings of his wife, Hermine Floch.
Lene Schneider-Kainer Collection
The collection contains biographical notes on Lene Schneider-Kainer; photographs of her and signed photographs of the German author Bernhard Kellermann; and an album with newspaper clippings, magazine articles, and photographs. The album covers the years 1929-1951, and includes clippings pertaining to Schneider-Kainer, her work, and exhibits of her work; magazine articles concerning her trip through Asia with Kellermann, some written by him, illustrated with photographs of her related paintings; and photographs of Kellermann, Schneider-Kainer, and her paintings.
Wiesenthal Family Collection
The collection holds primarily vital and official documents, clippings, correspondence, photographs and publications pertaining to the pharmacist W. Wiesenthal in Brandenburg. Also represented is the Jacobs family, which was related to Wiesenthal by marriage.
