Erna Magnus Collection
This collection comprises the research of the social worker Erna Magnus into the professional, cultural and civic activities of members of the Hamburg Jewish Community from the eighteenth through the twentieth centuries. It is composed entirely of index cards that record biographical and professional data on these individuals.
Hans Epstein Collection
Papers of Hans Epstein (1905-1960), educator and historian. The collection consists of documents relating to Epstein's teaching activities during Nazi rule in Germany, and in New York during and after the Second World War; correspondence from before the emigration with individuals and organizations (including with Martin Buber, and Adolf Leschnitzer of the Reichsvertretung der Deutschen Juden); personal and business correspondence relating to immigration in 1938 and Epstein's work in New York; posters and postcards.

The Hermann Baerwald Papers holds documenation of and about the educator and historian Hermann Baerwald. Included in the collection are a number of articles about and by him, correspondence, notes, and a few photographs.

The Perlmann Family Collection consists of papers of members of the Perlmann and related families, including the Spiero and Jolowicz families. It includes genealogy and biographies of these families and also of members of the related Lewald and Simson families. Some material on the city of Königsberg is also present. The collection consists of correspondence, genealogical research, family trees, biographies, articles, newspaper clippings, official documents, a few postcards and photographs, a memorial book and a few pamphlets.

The collection contains materials pertaining to the Rosenberg-Aronheim family and Nora Kronstein-Rosen.
Virginia Levitt Snitow Papers
The collection encompasses the personal papers of Virginia Snitow, especially during her active years in the Women's Division of the American Jewish Congress and an organization she founded, US/Israel Women to Women. Papers contain correspondence, writings and voluminous notes with both fiction, and non-fiction writings on racial, gender and class equality. Also included are family stories and diaries chronicling Snitow's time spent in her summer home in Grenada.

The Werner Warmbrunn Collection documents life and professional activities of Werner Warmbrunn and to a smaller extent, members of his immediate family. The collection consists of correspondence, diaries and memoirs, educational documents, printed materials, and unpublished poetry by David Warmbrunn and Werner Warmbrunn.
