Anna Herzfeld Woog Family Collection.
The collection contains original and photocopied documents about the Meinungen, Herzfeld and associated families as well as marriage contracts and divorce papers for Anna and Julius Woog.
Berend & Co. Collection
The Berend & Co. Collection holds information about the Berend & Co. banking house and later sugar refining company and the Berend family itself. Prominent topics are business matters and Samuel Bacher Berend's son Herz Berend. The collection consists of correspondence, bank checks, birth certificates, military documents, protection papers, royal recognitions, academic documents, and other certificates.
Bueding Family Collection
The Bueding family papers contain handwritten and printed original documents of the Bueding, Goldschmidt, Cohnheim and Mardorf families in Kassel, Hesse, including royal commissions, letters of protection, business matters, and family histories. They also hold documentation collected by the Bueding family about Jewish history in Kassel, especially about the history of French Jews, from the Middle Ages until the 19th century.

Various decrees issued by rulers before emancipation to the Jewish communities of the towns and provinces of Alsace, Augsburg, Austria, Baden, Bamberg, Berlin, Bohemia, Brandenburg, Braunschweig, Breslau, Cassel, Cologne, Dresden, Eisenach, Frankfurt am Main, Hanau, Hanover, Helmstaedt, Hessen, Karlsruhe, Leipzig, Nassau, Nuremberg, Palatinate, Potsdam, Prussia, Rawicz, Rheinfels, Saxony, Schleswig, Schwerin, Vienna, Weinheim, Wolfenbuettel, and Wuerzburg. The decrees concern many aspects of life, including economic activity and taxation, settlement rights, and the regulation of the internal life of the Jewish communities.
Dobrin Family Collection
The collection comprises a large amount of legal documents, deeds, correspondence and clippings relating to the Dobrin family of Freienwalde. The majority of the documents are from the 19th century.
Ernst Kitzinger Collection
The collection contains three circumcision registers (Mohelbuecher) with some entries from Prague, 1816 and Baiersdorf, 1819 and mostly from Munich, 1826-1885. In addition there is a ‘Memorbuch’ from Fuerth, Bavaria.

Hans Eltzbacher Collection
Financial, business, and personal papers of the Eltzbacher family and related families, including correspondence, architectural plans, financial ledgers, wills and testaments, clippings, and eulogies; of particular interest is the business correspondence of Count Aloys zu Kaunitz-Rietberg with the banker Jacob Loeb Eltzbacher (1758-1825), who was based in Neuenkirchen, Westphalia, along with supporting documents and records; material on the career of the lawyer Carl Eltzbacher (1854-1936), including clippings on his candidacy to the Cologne city council in 1903 and correspondence, including a letter from Konrad Adenauer.
Itzig Family Collection
The Itzig Family Collection contains papers documenting the history and genealogy of the Itzig and related families. Particularly prominent are the careers and significant achievements of Daniel Itzig (1722-1799) and his son Isaac Daniel Itzig (1750-1806). The collection includes family trees, many photocopies of official certificates and letters, an unpublished typescript for a book on Isaac Daniel Itzig and a few copies of photographs of family members.
