This collection contains letters and notes by Albert Einstein, as well as photographs, clippings, items commemorating Einstein, the Einstein family tree, and autographs. The collection also includes a guest book from 1929 from Einstein's house in Caputh with entries made by guests who visited the house.

The collection contains various materials pertaining mostly to Andre (Andreas) Meyer.

The Bernhard Altmann Collection contains documents related to the private life of Bernhard Altmann as well as his textile business in New York, including photographs; a friendship album; and publications.

This collection contains genealogical information and documents related to the Esslinger, Bloch, and Leib families from Württemberg, Konstanz and Zurich, as well as Isidor Esslinger who immigrated to the US State of Indiana in the 1850s.

The Ester Rosenstark Family Collection contains mostly photographs, which document Ester's early life in Zurich, the family's emigration to Palestine and their life there. Most photos are in a small format and in black and white. Also included are official and some personal documents, as well as a short overview of Ester Rosenstark's family members and their relations.

This collection contains materials related to Kurt Hirschfeld and others concerning the theater, plays, director's scripts, photos, and set designs.

The Kurt Hirschfeld Correspondence Collection largely contains correspondence sent to theater director Kurt Hirschfeld by authors and dramatists as well as personal acquaintances. Much of the collection centers around the production of theatrical works as well as news of his correspondents, among whom numbered well-known German-language dramatists and authors. A few letters of Hirschfeld's as well as letters to his wife following his death are also included, as are some unpublished manuscripts of poems and essays of his correspondents.

The Lee Sommer Collection primarily consists of photographic material of the Lee Sommer family. In addition it contains a small amount of family correspondence, memorial albums, and articles about Hermann Schuelein.

This collection holds the papers of the author Margarete Susman, with a focus on the significant events of her life and her relationships with others. In addition to drafts of her memoirs the collection contains extensive correspondence with Gertrud Kantorowicz, Georg Simmel and Karl Wolfskehl. Other items include newspaper clippings, among them many obituaries, other correspondence, a few photographs and other papers.

The collection contains copies of various materials accumulated in the course of Moritz Sobernheim's work at the German Foreign Office.

The collection consists of correspondence, predominantly addressed to Nora Kronstein-Rosen (née Kronstein). Prominent topics are art and the relationship between Nora and her mother, Ilona Kronstein (née Neumann), as well as the relationship between Nora and her aunt Klara Mueller (née Neumann). Also included is visual and art-related material.

This collection holds the correspondence and papers of the professor Paul Proskauer, his brother Henry (Hans) Proskauer, and to a lesser extent, his parents. Although personal correspondence comprises the bulk of the collection, an additional focus is his and his brother's professional reviews and articles. Further materials include official documents, photo and postcard albums, programs, a diary and newspaper and magazine clippings.

The Philipp Loewenfeld Collection mainly consists of legal documents and correspondence with Loewenfeld's colleagues.

The collection contains documentation of the Stern family, including a passport for Abram Süskind Stern; letters for the appointment of mathematician Moritz Abraham Stern as associate professor and professor at the University of Göttingen; brief obituary for historian Alfred Stern; and notes on the life of Süsskind Stern. Of particular interest is a mohel book from the ancestors of Moritz Abraham Stern in Frankfurt am Main with 55 pages of handwritten entries dating from 1698 to 1826.
