The Otto Ehrlich Collection documents the life and professional activities of Otto Ehrlich, economist, lecturer, advertisement artist, and teacher. The collection includes brochures, booklets, clippings, correspondence, financial and immigration documents, minutes, notes, photographs, photo collages, examples of his advertisement work, printed materials and writings. Documents comprising the collection reflect various aspects of Otto Ehrlich’s personal and professional life, teaching, research and writings in the fields of economics, and to a lesser extent his involvement with the field of advertisement and music.

The bulk of the collection consists of transcripts of Paul Josephthal’s memoirs 1916-1918 during World War I in Romania, when he commanded a unit of German soldiers as an ‘Etappenkommandant’ (Rear Echelon Commander).

The collection contains primarily circulars pertaining to the German organization of Jewish soldiers who fought in World War I.

The collection contains extensive personal documents including correspondence and biographical material, of members of the Wolfers family from the early 19th century until mid 20th century. There is also significant documentation concerning the Berlin road construction firm of the Wolfers in the early 20th century.

The collection comprises various material related to the Marienthal and Oppenheimer families. The recipes in folder 2 include several "war-time" recipes.

The collection contains documentation of the Sonneborn family, particularly Leo Sonneborn and his wife Settie; Siegmund Sonneborn; as well as photographs of Line Speyer née Sonneborn’s family.

This collection contains a copy of Elisabeth Schönfeld's diary written during the Nazi dictatorship, as well as a few photographs, a manuscript by Lucie Meyer on her emigration to France, and a couple of family papers. All items are photocopies, except the photographs.

The Sussmann-Hirsch Family Collection sketches the history of the Hirsch family from 1859 until 1980. The collection centers on the correspondence and memories of Sigmund and Rosa Hirsch, Herbert Hirsch and Lilli Sussmann. Most of the documents date from the First World War.

This collection contains official documents, family papers, and correspondence pertaining to the Jewish community in and around Nuremberg, with an especial focus on the Tuchmann family genealogy. There are also a number of family papers and some correspondece, including materials related to the family's restitution claims.

The bulk of the collection contains material pertaining to Jewish life in Braunschweig, Germany, before World War II, including documents from Walter Heinemann's life in Braunschweig during the 1930s and material pertaining to the larger Jewish community and its prominent members. The collection also contains photographs of concentration camps and material pertaining to prominent Jewish individuals and organizations. Included are correspondence, photographs, government forms, notes, speeches, and clippings.

This collection contains a small amount of Rathenau's correspondence and several manuscripts and clippings about Rathenau and his family.

The collection contains documentation of the Welisch family of Graz, particularly Rudolf Welisch and Doris née Fleischmann and her parents Martin Fleischmann and Josefine née Borges. Included in the collection are vital records, identity cards, educational records, and photographs.

The William Werner Bloch Collection documents chapters in the life of William Werner Bloch, especially his involvement as an American soldier in World War II, as well as the history of his family and the claim for compensation against Germany after World War II.

The collection contains documents pertaining to the Willy May, Salomon Kahn, Herz Levi, and Auerbach-Ehrlich families. Included are documents pertaining to Willy May's work as a butcher, his service in World War I, and the civilian war work of May and his wife Martha May née Levi during World War II; documents pertaining to the military service of Salomon Kahn and Julius Kahn; documents pertaining to work the as butchers of Levi Levi II and his son Hermann Levi, as well as genealogy of their family in Griesheim; and family tree of the Auerbach-Ehrlich family from 1600 to the early 20th century, including birth and death dates and locations.

The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence relating to his efforts as a committee chairman for tree-planting efforts in Israel. Other materials concern his genealogy and his memoirs.

The collection holds the personal documents of both the Wulkan and Berger families from Vienna. While most of the documents cover the time of emigration to the United States and Kenya, the collection also holds documents on the family’s life in Vienna before World War II. Much of the correspondence was written during the 1910s, 1920s, and early 1930s.
