The Berend & Co. Collection holds information about the Berend & Co. banking house and later sugar refining company and the Berend family itself. Prominent topics are business matters and Samuel Bacher Berend's son Herz Berend. The collection consists of correspondence, bank checks, birth certificates, military documents, protection papers, royal recognitions, academic documents, and other certificates.

This Collection contains the almost complete estate of Constantin Brunner (a.k.a Leo Wertheimer) as well as a comprehensive collection of documents and especially letters from the Brunner circle and those pertaining to the Brunner reception.

Two handwritten cookbooks from the 19th century: the first mostly recipes for pastries and baked goods, the second broader in scope.

This collection mainly consists of documents pertaining to the genealogy research of Josef Hadar, as well as personal documents of his parents Elsa Graetz and Ludwig Hirschbruch.
