Abstract The Frederick Brunner Collection incorporates the research of the banker and LBI board chairman Frederick Brunner. Prominent subjects encompassed in this research include the Rothschild family and the history of Jews in Landau in der Pfalz. The collection contains extensive newspaper clippings, articles, correspondence, notes, genealogical tables and family trees, and a few photographs.

Hanns Jäger-Sunstenau Collection

Abstract This collection contains handwritten family trees and short typed reports compiled by Hanns Jäger-Sunstenau on the Anhauch, Arnstein, Eichthal, Fould, Goldschmidt, Haber, Königswarter, Morpurgo, Rothschild, and Schnapper families. All of these families were elevated into the nobility. The reports provide vital information on individual family members, a short abstract history of the family, and information on the circumstances of the family's ennoblement.

Abstract The collections consists of so called “Rothschildiana”, which describe assorted documents of interest pertaining to the Rothschild family and their influence on the economic history of Europe. Specifically, there are original autographs; transcripts of original documents; photographs; correspondence; and manuscripts about aspects of the Rothschild family. Of special interest is an extended family history by Albert J. Phiebig, The descendents of Mayer Amschel Rothschild, which was compiled in the 1940s.
