Joan Adams had researched intensively her Jewish family’s history. The collection presents her ancestors since the 18th century and shows the connections between several German Jewish families, which migrated to the United States.

Collection consists of concert programs, handbills, and other promotional material pertaining to the United States career of Joseph Winogradoff, a renowned, Russian-born operatic baritone between, 1920-1924.

Contains correspondence of Glaser relating to various Zionist activities including correspondence in Yiddish from the 6th Zionist Congress, a delegate card (photocopy) for the Congress in Basel, share certificate and dividend coupons of the Jewish Colonial Trust and a letter from the Alliance Israelite Universelle concerning the purchase of land in Palestine for the B'nai Zion Achuza in Hartford.

This collection documents Max Weinstein of Kassel, Germany and New York City, and his wife Gerda Weinstein née Karliner, as well as the Karliner family, of Beuthen, Germany (today Bytom, Poland) and Hartford, Connecticut.
