Seligman family papers
This collection contains the materials of the following members of the Seligman family: from Henry (1828-1909), a letter, with typed transcription, written from Frankfort (1870), addressee unknown, to rescue Mrs. Abraham Lincoln from poverty after the defeat of the Pension Bill for Presidential Widows, 1869; from Isaac Newton Seligman (1855-1917), a letter on a business matter; from William Seligman (1822-1910), a copy of a speech delivered on July 4, 1903, at the banquet given by the American Chamber of Commerce in Paris, accompanied by a letter to Cyrus Adler from Isaac N. Seligman; a bill of exchange payable to Sir Moses MOntefiore, written by J. Seligman & Co. (1870); obituary of Arthur Seligman (1871-1933); Seligman Bros. (London), envelope with wax seal of firm (1872); Edwin A.R. Seligman (1861-1939), correspondence from M.J. Burstein (undated) [originally P-252]; and miscellaneous family related materials.
Isaacks family (New York and Newport) papers
Collection contains the following: 2 items of Abraham Isaacks (d. 1743): deed for land in New Jersey and estate inventory; ship cargo listing countersigned by Sampson Mears Isaacks, official in Naval Office, New York City; and marriage settlement of Abraham M. Isaacks and Rebekah Simson.
Jacob Goldberg Collection
Contains photocopies of Goldberg's autobiography, in Yiddish, with the English translation, relating his involvement with the trade union movement in the early 20th century - primarily in New York City.

The collection relates primarily to HATU, Local 83. Correspondence with organizations such as Israeli typographical unions, typographical unions in Poland, Hebrew-American Typographical Union, Local 83. New York City Committee on Jewish Affairs records
Contains minutes of meetings (1960-1961), correspondence and reports pertaining to its activities. Among the latter were matters pertaining to open enrollment in the public schools, Negro-Jewish relations, Sabbath legislation and kosher slaughtering.
New York (County) Hall of Records selected incorporation papers
This collection consists of microfilm, and bound photocopies of incorporation papers for all Jewish or Jewish-related organizations incorporated in New York City, 1848-1920. The types of organizations included are fraternal societies, political clubs, professional associations, synagogues, landsmanshaften, benevolent organizations, and social clubs. The entire collection has been indexed by name of the organization and, in some cases, by the European town from which the incorporators came, or by general type of organizations.
New York (County) selected briefs
Collection contains the surviving briefs (cases and points) of the City Court (until 1883, the Marine Court) of the City of New York, a statutory court of inferior civil jurisdiction within the County of New York and with limited maritime jurisdiction. The briefs were randomly selected from archives which were subsequently destroyed and represent primarily 1872-1881, 1884-1901, and 1904-1907, with some examples 1860-1871 and 1882. A sampling suggests that Jews were involved in 20-30 percent of these cases.
Records of the University Settlement Society of New York
Contains the minutes of the Civic Committee of the Richman Literary Society of the University Settlement for Nov. 1914 and Feb. 1915, and other material relating to the Richman Literary Society, the University of Settlement and published yearbooks of the University Settlement for the years 1899-1906.
