It contains various documents, poetry and a large amount of correspondence from the 19th century. Most of the collection consists of correspondence, but there are also folders with family papers such as wedding memorabilia, vaccination certificates, visiting cards, telegrams, a notebook, a family tree for one branch of the family and a clipping on Selig Adler.

The Adolf and Frieda Heilberg collection documents their lives and achievements. Most of the documents discuss Adolf Heilberg's 70th birthday and tributes on him. The publications of Frieda Heilberg concern topics like the textile industry and social and economic questions. In the personal documents of each person can be found birth certificates, master's and doctor's degrees and death certificates. Other documents include a Festschrift, speeches, articles, legal correspondence of Adolf Heilberg and a photo album.

This collection contains material on Adolf and Albert Frank. Most of it is connected to Adolf Frank's career as a chemist and entrepreneur. The bulk of the material is business papers of various kinds, mostly minutes of meetings and correspondence. Notebooks and patent files can also be found. Prominent is material which shows Adolf Frank's role in the German wartime industry of World War I. Although most material is connected to Adolf Frank, information about Albert Frank is also included. Both are represented in personal papers that appear in the collection.

The Adolf Leschnitzer Collection documents the life and professional activities of Adolf Leschnitzer, researcher, historian, and teacher. The collection includes brochures, booklets, clippings, correspondence, financial, vital, and immigration documents, minutes, notes, photographs, printed materials, and writings, by Adolf Leschnitzer as well as other authors. Additionally, there are materials dealing with other members of the Leschnitzer family, namely his wife, Maria Leschnitzer, née Bratz, her mother, Elly Bratz, née Michael, Adolf and Maria Leschnitzers' son, Michael Lesch, also known as Michael Leschnitzer, and Adolf and Albertt Frank.

The Adolf Loebel Collection primarily documents the events of the Holocaust in Baden-Württemberg with an extensive amount of newspaper clippings. To a smaller extent it shows a few of the experiences of Adolf Loebel, head of the Jewish community in Heidelberg. In addition to the many newspaper clippings the collection contains circular letters and announcements, some correspondence, a list of Jews in Baden from 1940 and a few photographs.

This collection includes personal and official documents of the Adolf Schwersenz family, including his professional work as a cantor, mainly during his time in Berlin. It contains sheet music used by Adolf Schwersenz, as well as newspaper clippings and letters.

This collection contains documents related to Albert Friedrich Hirsch, his family and the Philanthropin School in Frankfurt am Main, at which Hirsch was headmaster. Prominent topics are emigration and the school's fate under the Nazi regime as well as the attempts of its former pupils and faculty to stay in touch after 1945. The papers in this collection include some original material from the late 19th century through World War I and the "Third Reich" as well as several typescripts from the 1950s and 1960s that are related to a memorial book, which was eventually published in 1964.

This collection contains materials relating to the Ladenburg family of Mannheim, primarily chemist Albert Ladenburg. It includes clippings and articles, diaries, personal ephemera, and a collection of bills and Notgeld from the Weimar-era hyperinflation.

This collection contains materials collected and created by Albert Phiebig in the course of his genealogical work. It primarily documents the history of the Phiebig family and related families, but also contains original materials from his ancestors and genealogical tables of other German-Jewish families, as well as other genealogical material and a few personal materials.

The Albert Salomon Family Collection holds papers of several members of the Salomon family, especially sociologist Albert Salomon, his wife Anna Salomon, his aunt social reformer Alice Salomon, and his daughter Hannah Salomon Janovsky. Much of the collection consists of family photographs. Other prominent materials include correspondence of Hannah Janovsky on the preservation and publication of her family members' writings and articles on the life of Albert Salomon. A small amount of family papers and genealogical information is also present.

This collection documents the business of Café Éclair and the lives of the Winter family. The collection contains reviews of the café, and a guestbook with signatures of Austrian and American intellectuals and artists. The collection also includes the Winter family's documents from Austria (work and academic records) as well as clippings from their arrival and residence in the United States.

The Alfred Grünspecht Family Collection illustrates Alfred Grünspecht’s interest in documenting the horrors of World War II by way of translating the works of other authors as well as his interest in the genealogy of his own family. The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, vital documents, and printed materials.

The Alfred Jacobsberg collection consists of correspondence between Alfred Jacobsberg and various members of the Jacobsberg family during Alfred Jacobsberg's military service in the German army in World War I. Additionally, there is a small amount of business correspondence and documents dealing with Alfred Jacobsberg’s import business, and some World War I clippings.

This collection holds materials relating to the life and work of Alfred Karger, a German lawyer who immigrated to Ecuador in 1941. In addition to biographical materials this collection also contains some of Alfred Karger's writings, mainly published articles, and correspondence with different individuals and organizations, related to various topics between 1945 and 1968.

This collection contains several of Alfred Neumann's short prose manuscripts and over 100 poems, as well a considerable amount of correspondence.

This collection documents the professional life of Austro-American art historian and journalist Alfred Werner (1911-1979). After being released from Dachau in 1939, Werner fled to New York. From 1940 to 1979, he wrote thousands of stories, reviews, and columns, and was an editor of or contributor to dozens of art magazines and Jewish periodicals. His primary interests were European, Jewish, and Zionist political affairs, and 19th and 20th-century European and American art, with an emphasis on Jewish and Israeli artists. The bulk of the collection consists of his published output. The collection also contains some additional professional material, such as manuscripts, research materials, and reference photographs, as well as a few personal documents.

The Altschuler and Weinberger Families Collection includes materials related to the history of these families prior to World War II as well as materials that shed light on the fate of various members of the Altschuler and Weinberger families during the Holocaust. The collection consists of correspondence, printed materials, documents, photographs, genealogical materials such as charts and family trees, stammbuch (most likely belonging to Helen Altschuler), and a handwritten cookbook.

The collection contains various materials pertaining mostly to Andre (Andreas) Meyer.

This collection contains the correspondence and personal papers of Anne Fischer. The bulk of the material consists of nearly five decades of continuous correspondence between Anne Fischer and Hermann Simon. In addition, there is a very small amount of official documents of family members and a few photographs.

The Anton Finkelstein Collection documents some of the written work of Anton Finkelstein in philosophy, politics and literature. It contains unpublished manuscripts on assorted topics within these fields as well as his discussions via correspondence with Hanns Fischer. A few letters by others and typescripts by Fischer are also included.

This collection contains the records of the Society for the History of Czechoslovak Jews, an organization founded in 1961, in New York City, by members of the Joseph Popper unit of B’nai B’rith, to foster and disseminate knowledge about the history and culture of Jews in the Czech and Slovak lands. Along with the Joseph Popper unit and, later, the Holocaust Survivors of Slovakia, the society sponsored an annual memorial service held in New York City to honor Czechoslovak Jews who perished in the Holocaust. A majority of the records are from the tenure of Rabbi Norman Patz as president (1994-2008). The materials primarily comprise correspondence, and items related to the annual memorial service, including texts of addresses, and yizkor memorial booklets. Also included are meeting minutes, letters to the membership, financial reports, writings, speeches, obituaries, clippings, photographs, and printed ephemera. The society's correspondence reflects its participation in cultural events related to Czech and Slovak Jewish history, as well as its relationship to the Jewish communities in the Czech Republic and, to a lesser extent, Slovakia; some correspondence with members contains genealogical information.

This collection consists primarily of clippings and other published materials, amassed to illustrate the family trees of the Arnholds and related families, thus providing a picture of their activities as bankers, collectors, and public benefactors. Emphasis is given to the bank’s retirement plan, ’Gebrüder Arnholdscher Pensionsverein’ and to the art collector Eduard Arnhold and his foundation, Deutsche Akademie Rom Villa Massimo. Of special interest is a handwritten account about Kurt Arnhold’s escape from Germany to Holland in circa 1938.

The papers consist of manuscripts, official documents, diaries, correspondence, clippings, and a few photographs.

This collection documents the life of pharmacist and entrepreneur Arthur Abelmann. It contains materials about his personal and professional life, including his service in World War I. The bulk of the material concerns Chemiewerk, the pharmaceutical firm he founded in 1920 and cultivated for 13 years. In 1933, Abelmann was forced to resign his leading position and then to sell the company in one of the earliest cases of "Aryanization."
