The Hanns Fischer family collection includes correspondence of Hanns and Ellen Fischer in Bolivia with their daughters Marianne and Konstanze in Berkhamsted, England, where they had gone by Kindertransport. Also included are the memoirs of Ellen and Konstanze as well as of Hanns’s brother Rudolph; poems, genealogy tables and some photography. A few letters exchanged between Hanns Fischer and Thomas Mann and Karl Jaspers can be found among other professional and personal correspondence.

The Hans and Eleonore Jonas Collection provides documentation of the personal lives of Hans and Eleonore Jonas, better known as Lore Jonas, along with papers relating to the professional work and achievements of the philosopher and scholar Hans Jonas. In addition, the collection contains papers of members of the Jonas and Weiner families. The collection includes correspondence; photographs; articles and unpublished writings, including personal reminiscences and poetry; official documents; notes; sketches; speeches; and family trees.

The Heidecker and Schmitt Family Collection largely documents the emigration experiences of members of the Heidecker, Schmitt, and related families, especially of Ludolf and Ruth (née Schmitt) Heidecker. The failure of some family members in leaving Germany is portrayed in these papers as well. Other subjects include the families' histories, restitution for their losses in the Holocaust, and the postwar interests of Ludolf and Ruth Heidecker, among other subjects. The collection includes extensive correspondence and photographs, material relating to Ludolf Heidecker's role in soccer associations, cookbooks and recipes, family trees, newspaper clippings, official documents, and other personal papers.

Levy, a noted oil consultant for the U.S. government. Levy with government officials, and a plaque.

The Hirsch Family, Halberstadt Collection documents the lives of Hirsch family members in the city of Halberstadt and the business of Aron Hirsch & Sohn located there. Included in the collection are personal papers such as vital documents and correspondence, business records including balance sheets and account books, correspondence, certificates and official announcements. Other papers include family trees, genealogical notes, and articles and essays about the family and their business.

The Hirschberg-Goldmann Family Addenda holds documentation on the lives and emigration of Harry and Leonor Harter, originally of Breslau. It additionally contains research, conducted by their son, into the history and genealogy of the Hirschberg and Goldmann families and their relations, as well as into the fate of his maternal grandparents, Siegfried and Käthe Goldmann. The collection includes material about the Breslau Jewish community, especially about its Storch synagogue and the Cosel cemetery (Legnica Street cemetery). The collection contains many copies of historical documents, extensive correspondence, photographs and a photo album, copies of articles related to the research of the collection, and some family trees.

This collection documents the genealogy of the Jaffe family that originated in Posen (now Poznań, Poland), as researched by Johanna Jaffé. It includes a large amount of genealogical correspondence, family trees, some photographs and a few clippings.

The collection contains documents and manuscripts written by and about Dr. Jakob Loewenberg, the director of a girls' school in Hamburg from 1892 until his death in 1929. In addition to overseeing the school, Dr. Loewenberg was a poet and friend of relatively well-known German poets and writers of the day. The collection includes correspondence with the latter as well as articles about these friendships by Dr. Loewenberg and his son, Ernst, published after his father's death. Dr. Loewenberg was proud of being German and Jewish and often wrote on the topic. There is also significant correspondence from the Loewenberg family around the time of the First World War, documents on family genealogy, a large photograph collection, poems written by Loewenberg and numerous official personal documents. It also includes correspondence, manuscripts and personal documents of Dr. Ernst Loewenberg, Jakob Loewenberg's eldest son.

The Julius and Elisabeth Hirsch Collection holds the papers of this couple, with much of the collection consisting of family correspondence. Prominent subjects include the immigration of family members and genealogy of the family. In addition to extensive correspondence and family trees the collection includes notebooks, essays and articles, newspaper clippings, photographs, early drafts of Julius Hirsch's family memoir, and research notes.

This collection documents the family history of art historian Julius S. Held (1905-2002), who was born in Mosbach, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1934. The bulk of the collection consists of personal family correspondence. Other materials include genealogical tables, a few business and educational records, personal notes, a few anti-Semitic flyers, clippings, a ketubah, and a portrait of Rabbi David Sinzheim.

This collection contains documents relating to the "Aryanization" in 1935 of factory "Simson Werke" in Suhl (Thuringia), which was owned by Arthur Simson (1882-1969) and Julius Simson (1884-1953). It also includes materials about Julius Simson and the Simson family.

This collection primarily documents the efforts of Justin Mueller, his mother Laura (née Zivi) Mueller, and the extended Zivi family to leave Muellheim (Baden), Germany in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Also included are genealogical research on the Zivi family, materials about the family of Justin Mueller's wife, Hella Rees Mueller, and items of general German-Jewish interest donated by Mueller.

The collection holds materials pertaining to the physician and musician Kurt Singer, including some of his musical writings; reviews of his books; correspondence, including letters from Max Friedlaender, Wilhelm Furtwaengler, and Siegfried Ochs, and others. Also included are papers of Kurt Singer’s father, the Hungarian-born Moritz Singer, who served as rabbi in Koblenz, including letters from Helmuth von Moltke and Duke Friedrich I of Baden; and documents from his studies at the universities of Berlin and Jena, including a thesis, as well as academic reports signed by Moritz Lazarus, Heymann Steinthal, and Theodor Mommsen.

The Landau Family Collection holds documents pertaining to the restitution claims for the estate of Marianne Landau, including their property located at Pariser Platz 6a in Berlin. The correspondence in the collection details the efforts, sought out by the heirs of the Landau family, to receive compensation for a number of assets lost during the Nazi's reign and World War II. Also included are photographs, as well as legal, financial, and genealogical documents relating to specific members of the family.
