This collection holds official documents, correspondence, genealogical research material, and photographs from and about the Veit-Simon family. It gives an insight into the life of a Jewish family in Berlin during the 19th and 20th centuries. The collection also contains material pertaining to two restitution claims in the 1990s.

The John Kallir Collection contains documents regarding the life of John Kallir, his father Otto Kallir, their ancestors, and genealogical material.

The Joseph Hirsch Collection contains papers of the Hirsch family and other related families and documents gathered during genealogical research. There is correspondence concerning his research, as well as family trees and information about Schaffa, the town where Joseph Hirsch's fathers' family came from.

This collection contains the family correspondence and papers of the engineer Julian Spiegel. About half the collection consists of copies of the family's letters to Julian and Kaethe Spiegel. The Julius and Elisabeth Hirsch Collection holds the papers of this couple, with much of the collection consisting of family correspondence. Prominent subjects include the immigration of family members and genealogy of the family. In addition to extensive correspondence and family trees the collection includes notebooks, essays and articles, newspaper clippings, photographs, early drafts of Julius Hirsch's family memoir, and research notes.

The collection traces the history of the Kaiser family and the lives of its members over the course of the 20th century through correspondence, documents, writings, family history information, and photographs.

The Katzenstein Family Collection holds the papers and correspondence of Martin Katzenstein and Anna Charlotte Katzenstein. The collection contains genealogical materials, personal letters, and official papers relating to Anna's time spent living in England and Chile.

The Kirby Kantor Fuchs Collection consists of the papers of Fred and Lisa Kirby and their family members in the Kantor, Fuchs, Mahrer, and Schüssler families. Most of the collection consists of the official documents of the family members, along with restitution correspondence, and details the family members' early lives in Europe and their later emigrations to England and the United States. The collection includes many official documents, restitution correspondence, family photographs, educational and professional papers, some genealogical research, and other papers.

The collection provides information about the Kress-Heinemann family. It includes school report cards of Eva Heinemann and Walter Kreslawsky, recipes, genealogical research results and a portrait of Walter Heinemann.

The collection contains materials relating to Kurt Goldsmith, a New York-based photographer, and his wife Grete née Lendt. Kurt and his family escaped Nazi Germany to ultimately settle in New York City. The materials trace the journey that they and their family took to seek asylum in the United States. The collection is made up of personal documents, correspondence, photographs, and other archival materials.

The Landau Family Collection holds documents pertaining to the restitution claims for the estate of Marianne Landau, including their property located at Pariser Platz 6a in Berlin. The correspondence in the collection details the efforts, sought out by the heirs of the Landau family, to receive compensation for a number of assets lost during the Nazi's reign and World War II. Also included are photographs, as well as legal, financial, and genealogical documents relating to specific members of the family.

This collection documents the personal lives of Leo Rapp (1924-2004), his wife Hildegard Rapp née Kaiser (1921-1997), his aunt Rosa Lang née Rapp, and her husband Julius Lang. There are approximately equal amounts of papers and photographs ranging from the late 19th century through approximately 2005. The papers include vital records, immigration papers, military records, tax records, school grades, correspondence, biographical notes, and family trees. The photographs consist mainly of formal and casual photographs of Leo Rapp, Rosa Lang, and Julius Lang, alongside many family group photographs.

This collection documents the genealogical origins of Arthur Levi (1919-2018) and his wife, Kitty Pappenheim Levi (1925-2022).

This collection documents the genealogy of the Lismann family as well as the personal lives of Heinrich Lismann and his son Gerald (born Gerhart) during both world wars and their eventual emigration to the United States. The genealogical materials include family trees, family chronicles, correspondence, notes, photographs, and photographic negatives. The materials on Heinrich and Gerald include correspondence, passports, poems, clippings, visa applications, a biography and death announcements, ephemera, and limited restitution papers.

This collection contains personal papers of Siegfried Loeb and Else Loeb née Feibes and their immediate family members. The Loebs fled Germany for Palestine and then the United States, settling in Forest Hills, New York. Included are family trees, emigration papers, official documents, photographs, Julian Ulrich Loeb’s U.S. Army papers, and a cookbook.

This collection consists of papers of the Loewen family, including Samuel Liepmann Loewen and Liepmann (Leopold) Loewen. It includes personal, business and official papers, correspondence, genealogy, a collection of wax seals, some newspaper clippings, art prints, and a few photographs.

This collection holds the papers of rabbi Ludwig Philippson and other Philippson family members. Noteworthy items in this collection include handwritten manuscripts by Ludwig Philippson, correspondence between various family members, and diaries kept by Henriette and Moritz Philippson; the latter describes experiences as a medical student in Jena. In addition, the collection also holds manuscripts by the geographer Alfred Philippson that describe in depth family members as well as his experiences as a student, lecturer, and professor. Other items include detailed family trees, official papers, poems, notes, clippings, wills, and photographs.

The Marianne Salinger Collection comprises a broad variety of personal and professional documents pertaining to Marianne Salinger and her family. Spanning four generations, the material is clustered around individual stories of several family members and their relationships, each illustrated by different document types and genres, including personal and official letters, diaries, clippings, photographs and slides, various certificates, advertisements, restitution papers, as well as a couple of annotated books of various genres such as children's books, one cookbook, one autobiography and a language textbook. Some translations are included.

The Marianne Salinger Collection Addenda focuses on Marianne Salinger's creative work, but also holds materials related to her family and early life. Included in the collection are original and photocopied official documents, a baby book, many photographs, sketches, newspaper and magazine clippings, genealogical notes and memoirs, and a notebook.

This collection consists of personal papers, restitution records, and genealogical materials related to the family of textile merchant Jakob Markus of Lohr am Main. Jakob and his family fled Germany to New York City in 1939 and later attempted to procure visas for other family members. They successfully claimed restitution during the 1950s-1970s.

The collection consists of papers of members of the Martin and Recha Moses family that originated in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, including some papers from related families. Included are official and identity papers of three generations of the family, in addition to family registers and genealogical information, family photographs, a travel diary and some correspondence.

This collection documents Max Weinstein of Kassel, Germany and New York City, and his wife Gerda Weinstein née Karliner, as well as the Karliner family, of Beuthen, Germany (today Bytom, Poland) and Hartford, Connecticut.

The Milch Family, Breslau Collection consists of documents pertaining to the Milch, Kauffmann and Silbergleit families, including official documents, family trees, correspondence, unpublished manuscripts and newspaper clippings. The bulk of the collection consists of the papers of the literary historian Werner Milch.

The Morawetz-Glaser Family Collection documents these two Czech families, and in particular the notable events in the lives of the industrialist and philanthropist Richard Morawetz and his wife Frida (née Glaser) and of their children. The collection includes extensive family correspondence; family writings including diaries, memoirs, and poems; photographs and photo albums; family trees and genealogical research correspondence; newspaper clippings and articles; and official documents and other papers.

This collection includes correspondence, newspaper clippings, official and legal documents as well as genealogical documents relating to the Mosheim family, and most prominently Franz Mosheim. Also included are legal documents dating back to 1787 and records on the life of Franz and Elisabeth Mosheim in New York.

Series I includes legal documents, genealogical tables, newspaper clippings, and writings relating to the Mosheim family. There is genealogical information connected to the Mosheim family, such as legal documents and obituaries related to the deaths of members of the Mosheim family. Furthermore, the collection includes a photo album with family pictures.

Series II contains correspondence, official documents, a diary, and certificates of recognition, mainly related to Franz Mosheim as well as his wife Elisabeth Mosheim, née Herzberg. The series provides insights into the personal lives of Franz and Elisabeth regarding their trips, personal thoughts, official documents, and exchanges with friends and family.

The Mühlfelder and Roeckert Families Collection contains both primary sources and research materials that, together, combine to record the history of these families. Charles C. Milford (born Klaus Mühlfelder) compiled the research materials; the greatest quantity of correspondence, documents, and photographs in the collection also pertains to his life. Documents include vital documents, educational records, military service records, and materials relating to Charles C. Milford’s career as a librarian. In addition to Milford, his father Simon Mühlfelder and wife Patricia E. Milford feature most prominently in the first three series of the collection. Family history research focuses on Simon Mühlfelder’s first wife Martha Kassel and people within her milieu. This research is compiled from Milford’s correspondence with scholars and archives, relevant archival finding aids and photocopies of documents held by various archives, articles, photocopies from books, catalog records for pertinent books, and Wikipedia pages and other printouts of biographical information from the Internet. These same types of material also make up Milford’s research on topics of interest, including the history of Jews in Germany broadly and of the Mühlfelder family specifically.

This collection contains correspondence, photographs, official documents and other archival materials pertaining to the extended family of Erwin Neuburger.

The Oscar H. Netter Family Collection contains detailed genealogies and a history of the Netter (alternately spelled Neter or Noether) family with supporting papers, including clippings, articles and family and business documents.

This collection documents the experiences of the Eisen and Pepper (formerly Pieprzynski) families from the turn of the 20th century to the 1950s. The papers mainly concern Emma Eisen née Lowenthal, Benno Eisen, Dora Pepper née Eisen, and Saul Pepper. Included are vital records, immigration and naturalization records, restitution papers, correspondence, photographs, a family tree, and miscellaneous items such as sheet music, an address book, and memorabilia from Berlin. Also included are a few posters from Baruch Sperber, a music teacher and composer related to the Eisen family.

The Perlmann Family Collection consists of papers of members of the Perlmann and related families, including the Spiero and Jolowicz families. It includes genealogy and biographies of these families and also of members of the related Lewald and Simson families. Some material on the city of Königsberg is also present. The collection consists of correspondence, genealogical research, family trees, biographies, articles, newspaper clippings, official documents, a few postcards and photographs, a memorial book and a few pamphlets.
