Physician, scholar. Commented on and annotated Das Deutsche Gaunerthum, Leipzig, 1858, by F.C.B. Ave-Lallement. Lallement (1809-1892) was a noted German criminologist and philologist who explored the influence of Yiddish and Hebrew on the language of the underworld.
