Yiddish poet, literary critic, translator, teacher. Contributed to numerous periodicals including Morgn zhurnal (N.Y.), Jewish Daily Forward (N.Y.), Der tog (N.Y.), Zukunft (N.Y.), Freie Arbeiter Stimme (N.Y.), Letste nayes (Tel Aviv), Di goldene keyt (Tel Aviv), Literarishe bleter (Warsaw). Born in Dusetos, Lithuania. Immigrated to Canada in 1927. Settled in the U.S. in 1937.
