From the microfilm reels:
This collection consists of two parts: (1) a part of HICEM, later HIAS, archives in Lisbon during World War II; (2) part of the AJDC archives in Lisbon (beginning with file 568), which was brought over from Lisbon together with the HICEM Archives. The collection consists of 844 files.
Both parts were transferred to YIVO in March 1962.
They were microfilmed in January 1972.
This collection was received together with the collection of records of HICEM in Lisbon and therefore the two collections are inventoried and microfilmed together. Formerly HIAS-HICEM (Lisbon), RG 245.5, folders 566-844
