Biographical / Historical
Founded in New York by immigrants from Balta, Ukraine. Incorporated on February 4, 1898. Dissolved by New York State Department of Insurance on October 15, 1952. Provided sick and death benefits. Maintained a fund for the needy. Supported local institutions. Functioned as a burial society. Society used the New Montefiore Cemetery in Long Island, NY.
