Subseries 3: Groups, undated, 1904-1938
Scope and Contents
This series contains photographs of theater personalities, including portraits of individuals, under approximately 250 name headings; theater scenes from play productions or, in a few instances, film stills; group portraits of theater troupes; group photos of actors in other settings; and a small number of family photographs.
Clippings of published images from newspapers, brochures, and books are sometimes included, as well as images of artists' drawings, and, in a few instances, original artwork.

Accompanying inscriptions, captions, and incidental text in Yiddish, Polish, Russian, German, English, French, Romanian, Hebrew, and Latvian.
