Letters to Zalman Reisen, 1929-1934
Scope and Contents
Includes four letters from Broderzon; a letter from the Yidisher Artistn Fareyn (YAF), 1929; an undated letter from journalist and bibliographer Avrom Pekler; and a note signed from an "Ararat" group. Several items, including ones from Broderzon and the YAF, are addressed to Reisen, as editor of the Vilner Tog), and concern a guest appearance in Vilna in 1929 of a troupe of former "Ararat" members; the letter from the YAF appeared in the newspaper on 22 December (see Clippings, below, Folder 601). One of Broderzon's letters, circa 1929, encloses a clipping concerning an appearance of "Ararat" in Tomaszów, and another, dated 1933, contains a contribution from his wife, Sheyne MIriam. 7 items.
