Scope and Contents
Russian censor's stamp, St. Petersburg, 16 January 1912, and stamp for tax (title page), as well as red wax seal (last page). Yiddish-language stamp of N. S. Lipovski as administrator, "Idisher folks-teater." Accession no. 1/1191 (stamp).
German translation, adapted (bearbeitet) by L. Saslawsky, based on the Yiddish-language play "A mentsh zol men zayn," which, according to Zylbercweig (IV: 2653-2654, 2909-2910), was written by Anshel Shor together with Moshe Schorr. The title page of the manuscript gives only the last name "Shor."
