Two handwritten notebooks containing cooking recipes by Ida Ahronheim from Rostock, Germany.

Some cooking recipes are written onto the pages of a training manual for business students, containing blank checks from various European banks: Emil Döll, Sammlung Kaufmännischer Druckvorlagen, Leipzig, 1895.

Biographical Note

The notebooks were brought to New York by Ida Ahronheim’s granddaughter, Liese-Lotte Wolf née Liepman, who immigrated to the United States in 1937.
