Benario Family of Obernbreit Collection
Scope and Content Note
This collection contains family trees and other materials related to the Benario family history and genealogy.
The first folder contains an illustrated family tree diagram, printed in 1921,for the Benario family of Obernbreit, tracing its lineage to Löb Aron and Esther Hirsch (1747-1822) and providing basic vital information on several family members. The few other materials in the folder include some correspondence and photocopied documents, largely from the 1930s, which seek to expand on the data in this family tree. The oversized family trees begin one generation later with the family of Leopold Benario.
