Michelsohn Family Collection
Scope and Content Note
The collection holds various documents pertaining to the Michelsohn family, originally from the town of Hausberge (Minden, Westphalia). These include vital records, a genealogical table, as well as clippings and publications.
Folder 2 holds a 37-page typescript about the genealogy of the Michelsohn family by Nathan Michelsohn, Johannesburg, 1947.
There are copies of a letter written by parents on their final way to a concentration camp in folder 1. Also included are deportation lists from Hanover in folder 5.
