Laupheim Community Collection
Scope and Content Note
The Laupheim Community Collection consists almost exclusively of photocopied documents from the 18th through the first half of the 20th century which document the life of the Jewish Community in Laupheim, a city in Baden-Württemberg. These documents originate from community and cultural organizations and congregations and from government sources, including documents produced during the Nazi period. Unpublished manuscripts on the history and culture Jewish community of Laupheim, and on the experience of the Holocaust in Laupheim, represent the other main focus of this collection. The remaining materials including music recordings and exhibition materials from the Laupheim Museum for the History of Christians and Jews (Schloss Grosslaupheim Museum zur Geschichte von Christen und Juden).
