Biographical Note

Kurt Willner was born in Vienna, Austria in 1923. His father Joachim (Chaim) had a jewlery store in St. Poelten, Austria. Kurt Willner left Austria in 1939 as part of a Youth Alia transport to Palestine. He immigrated to the US in 1958.

His parents Chaim and Rachel Willner were deported to Sabac (Yugoslavia) where they were killed in 1941.
