Scope and Content Note

The collection contains documents pertaining to Felix Schuster's service in World War I; the restitution claims of Felix Schuster and his wife Frieda Schuster née Wolf; and family photographs.

Folder 1 contains documents pertaining to Felix Schuster's service in World War I, including a military pass and certificates pertaining to military awards he received; and documents pertaining to Felix and Frieda Schuster's restitution claims, including forms detailing the decisions and related correspondence with lawyers. A marriage certificate and passports are also included.

Folder 2 contains photographs of Felix and Frieda Schuster and their son Fred, as well as photographs of additional family members in Germany and the United States.

Biographical Note

Felix Schuster was born on December 10, 1890, in Sterbfritz. His wife Frieda Schuster née Wolf was born on July 8, 1896, in Windecken. They emigrated from Germany to the United States in 1939.
