Eva Ronell Collection
Scope and Content Note
The collection contains various documents related to the family of Eva Ronell (née Ring), as well as a number of Ring's personal papers and some materials on the family history.
The first folder contains only a few birth and death documents, some of which pertaint o family members' emigration to England. Most of the remaining materials are of a personal nature, including some letters exchanged by Ronell's parents, some manuscript and typewritten poems, and various recipes and knitting patterns. Many items, including a log book in which she recorded various theatrical and musical performances she attended, appear to have belonged to her sister, the opera singer Judith Sander. One of the manuscripts in folder 6 is Julius Rosenbaum's account of Kristallnacht, but the rest have to do with the Ring family history.
