Scope and Contents

Folder I contains the correspondence of Hermann Wallach, Paul Wallach, Eugen Perle and Botho Naso (1930); Über die Familie Wallach (Worms), a transcript of an article by B. Rosenthal (1933); Lebenslauf von Hermann Wallach by Paul Wallach (1941); Onkel Juli, a biographical essay on Julius Wallach by Else Levi-Mühsam (undated); poems by Julius Wallach (undated); unidentified transcripts and manuscripts pertaining to the Wallach family; clippings from German newspapers pertaining to the Wallach family (1965-1981); and photographs of Julius Wallach and of synagogues and houses in the Worms area.

Folder II contains the Wallach family biography, printed and bound, as well as two collections of documents and photographs that relate to the materials in folder 1: 1500 Jahre Juden am Worms am Rhein and Lichtenau in Westfalen. The file also contains an untitled collection of poems by Julius Wallach(?).

Folder III contains the correspondence between Else Levi-Mühsam and various archives and institutes pertaining to her preliminary research (1955-1997), as well as various hand-written notes.
