Biographical Note

Hannelore Floersheimer was born in Berlin on July 11, 1931. Her parents were Samuel Floersheimer and Erna, née Kroner. In 1939 she emigrated to Montevideo, Uruguay with her parents and her older sister, Anneliese, before settling in New York City.
