Jutrosinski Family Collection

 Collection
Identifier: AR 7018

Scope and Content Note

The bulk of the materials in this collection consist of family trees for the Hamburger and Jutrosinski families. There are also a few photocopies of family documents and papers.

The only original material in this collection is an excerpt from the Nazi publication Das Schwarze Korps ( 1938 December 8 ) with an image of Kurt Jutrosinski taken while he was imprisoned in Sachsenhausen. The remaining materials concern Jutrosinski's ancestors, especially his grandfather, the educator Moritz Jutrosinski. There are also a couple of birth and marriage records and an election poster.

The bulk of the collection consists of family trees, the largest of which depicts the descendants of Meir Hamburger, as well as two considerably smaller trees for the Cohn and Jutrosinski families.
