Historical Note
The Jewish family register of Zaberfeld was hidden by the local community administration during the Nazi era under the roof of the local city hall; it has since returned to the registry office and is available to researchers. The digital version was made by the former local teacher, Wolfgang Schönfeld in course of his research for his book ‘Die letzten jüdischen Familien in Zaberfeld’ (The last Jewish families in Zaberfeld), published in 2015.
