Scope and Content Note

The collection contains various materials regarding the Obermayer family history as well as publications concerning the recently established Obermayer German Jewish History Award, presented to Germans who have made significant voluntary contributions to preserving the Jewish history, culture, and material remains in their local communities. Folder 1 contains famly trees pertaining to Obermayer, Sinsheimer, Oberndoerfer, Oppenheimer, Kellermann, Henlein families Folder 2 contains a pedigree chart and additional information on the Obermayer family including Lehmann, Krakauer and Blumenfeld families. Folder 4 contains "A Tribute/Eine Ehrung": Program of the "Obermayer German Jewish History Award 2003," a program for 2005, and correspondence Obermayer to Hans Buch (Enkenback mayor).
