Ronney Traynor Family Trees Collection

 Collection
Identifier: AR 25305

Scope and Content Note

The Ronney Traynor Family Trees Collection consists of several typed family trees. These show the descendants of members of the Grunewald/ Gruenwald/ Greenwald, Kahnweiler, Gimble, Lichtenstein and related families. Family members depicted in the trees derived from ancestors in the Palatinate region of Germany and from Veisiejai, Lithuania, as well as various locations in the United States, especially Pennsylvania. Although most of the genealogy is shown in extensive tables, the first folder includes a family tree whose branches provide an overview of the interrelation of the family branches listed in the tables. In addition to basic biographical data, some genealogical tables also include notes on individuals, with information on occupations, military service, property owned, or other details. Most of the earliest ancestors in the tables date from the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
