Scope and Content Note
Copies about the Rosenthal family in Grosseicholzheim and Kleineicholzheim. Folder 1 contains a copy of History of the Rosenthal Family from Hirschhorn am Neckar (based on Paul Arnsberg's book); a copy of an article about Sidney Westheimer from Klein Eicholzheim. Folder 2 contains copies of photographs showing the homes of Moritz Rosenthal and Moses and Samuel Westheimer; family tree of the Westheimer family from Grosseicholzheim; general information about the Jews of Grosseicholzheim. Folder 3 contains Biographical information about the Spatz family from Grosseicholzheim; article about memorial in Grosseicholzheim. Folder 4 contains information on the history of the Jews in Grosseicholzheim in preparation of a new local museum, containing such information. Folder 5 contains Part V of a history of Jews in Grosseicholzheim by Artur Vogt.

Biographical Note
The Rosenthal family owned a clothing store in Grosseicholzheim. Moritz Rosenthal was born in 1861. He married Zerline Westheimer. After her death in 1896, Moritz married Zerline's sister Jenny. He died in 1937.
