Mannheim Reunion Collection
Scope and Content Note
This collection contains programs and other materials associated with a reunion of surviving members of the Mannheim Jewish community. The vast majority of the collection consists of original memoirs about the community and the experience of diaspora which were collected on the occasion of the reunion and later compiled into book form as Reflections by Jewish survivors from Mannheim by Robert B. Kahn .
Other materials in the collection include programs for the reunion, letters from representatives of the Mannheim Jewish community and an association of former Mannheimers in Tel-Aviv, and some materials (corrected drafts, correspondence) related to the publication of the memoirs as a book.

Abstract
This collection contains programs and other materials associated with a reunion of surviving members of the Mannheim Jewish community. The vast majority of the collection consists of original memoirs about the community and the experience of diaspora which were collected on the occasion of the reunion and later compiled into book form as Reflections by Jewish survivors from Mannheim by Robert B. Kahn.
Arrangement
The memoirs are arranged alphabetically. Robert Kahn and Lotte Marshall, who solicited the memoirs for the book Reflections by Jewish survivors from Mannheim assigned each memoir a number, but as these numbers reflect no clear order, chronological or otherwise, the memoirs have been filed alphabetically as they are in the book for greater ease of use.
