Mosevius-Bloch Collection.
Scope and Content Note
The collection contains various vital documents, records, and correspondence relating to the Mosevius and Bloch families.
The manuscripts in folders 1 and 2 are collections of translated letters between family members, which include select commentary as well as photocopies of documents contextualizing the narrative, for example photographs, school records, reference letters, and family tree materials. Of particular interest in the second manuscript are five letters written from the Gurs concentration camp in 1941-1942. The remainder of the collection comprises photocopies of vital documents, school report cards, marriage certificates and contracts, and other family records.
