Fred Loewy Collection

 Collection
Identifier: AR 10574

Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of a large number of research notes, genealogical tables and charts, and a database printout of materials pertaining to Fred Loewy's family genealogical research project.

The majority of the material consists of a series of standardized genealogical forms which Loewy completed and compiled on various branches of his father's family, including forms on individuals as well as various relational charts and tables. There are indications that some of the families which Loewy researched are not definitively related to Loewy's family. Some photocopied documents are present. The research extends as far back as the early eighteenth century, but most of the data dates to the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The final folder contains printouts of a database and charts generated using a software program called Master Genealogist.
