Randegg Jewish Community Collection
Scope and Content Note
This collection contains transcriptions of various vital records registers from the nineteenth and early twentieth century of the Jewish community of Randegg (Landkreis Gottmadingen), Baden-Württemberg, Germany. These transcriptions were largely assembled during two individuals' genealogical and historical research projects. Although most of the documents are paper transcriptions and reproductions, there was also a recording of the German-Jewish dialect in common usage in Randegg during the nineteenth century, which is currently missing from the shelves of the LBI Audiovisual Collection.
