Scope and Content Note

The collection consists primarily of manuscripts by Robert Naumann. There is also some genealogy information and an article about the history of the Jews of Liegnitz. Most manuscripts include a photograph of the subject.

Folder one contains the following manuscripts:

Folder two contains a poem about Naumann's mother by Konrad Igel, an article on the history of the Jews of Liegnitz, and a manuscript by John Henry Richter regarding the genealogy of Nanny Egers Engel.

Biographical Note

Robert A. Naumann was born 1893 in Liegnitz, Silesia. He emigrated to the United States and lived in Baltimore, Maryland. Benno Naumann, Robert's father, born 1854 in Landeshut, Silesia, died in Liegnitz in 1919.
