Scope and Content Note

Folder 1 contains information related to Inge Rosenthal's parents including biographical information she provides, some photographs during World War I (xeroxes), and perhaps 100 postcards sent during World War I and afterwards. The countries depicted include Germany, Austria, France, Hungary, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Holland.

Folder 2 contains documents of Hans Rosenthal. The sailors' log is from 1936, the diary begins in 1937. Also included are birth and school certificates and other official documents. There is also an anonymous letter addressed to Inge's father-in-law prior to his emigration to Brazil (1939).
