Annie Heim Collection
Scope and Content Note
The collection consists primarily of correspondence to Annie Heim from her brother Ernst Bernstein and other friends. The letters detail the efforts of Annie and her family to get Ernst and his wife, Elisabeth, safely out of Nazi Germany. Their efforts were fruitless and the Bernsteins perished in Majdanek.
Folder 2 contains correspondence and other documents relating to the composer Rudolf Senger who perished in Theresienstadt. Included is an inventory of his belongings and compositions.
