This collection contains two items: an 1864 letter by Calvin --- depicting New Orleans under Union control and describing Solomon Benjamin, brother of Judah P. Benjamin; and an 1834 letter by John M. Clapp of Beaufort, SC, concerning an S. Benjamin.
