Scope and Content Note

The collection contains a deed for land purchased by Isaac Davega, Sr. (1819), and an assignment of rights to an inheritance witnessed by Isaac Davega, Jr. (1856). The latter document was also signed by Augustus E. Cohen. Collection also includes: another deed; and a conveyence for a tract of land in Charleston, SC, also signed by Rachel J. Barrett, Gustavus Poznanski, Esther G. Poznanski, and witnessed by Jacob Ottolengui and Isaac Davega.
