The collection consists of two letters written by Chaim Weizmann to American Zionists: a thank you letter to Jacob Cohen (1939) and an invitation to a meeting between Weizmann and the members of the American Emergency Committee for Zionist Affairs sent to Arthur Lourie (1942), the executive secretary of the Committee.

Biographical Note
Chaim Weizmann was a prominent Zionist leader and Israeli politician who served as a president of the Zionist Organization before being elected as the first President of Israel in 1949.
