This collection consists of a copy of a contractual arrangement (1843) between Castro - an empresario who received a land concession from the president of the independent Republic of Texas (1836-1845)- and a potential colonist whom he recruited in Paris France, paraphrasing the law that granted Castro his concession and outlining the stipulation of his contract.
