Subseries 5: Hadoar Quarterly, 2003-2004
Scope and Contents
Hadoar ("The Post") was an adult news magazine that began in 1921 as a daily, was issued for many years weekly, and from 1991-2002 was issued as a biweekly. During 2003-2004, Hadoar appeared as a quarterly. Described as "the oldest Hebrew Periodical still being published in the diaspora" by Moshe Pelli, its final issue was in the Summer 2004.
Language of Materials
The collection is open to all researchers by permission of the Executive Director of the American Jewish Historical Society, except items that are restricted due to their fragility.
